Wildwood Family Camp & Getaways
Wildwood offers two ways families can experience the wonders of Wildwood together: Family Camp and Wildwood Family Getaways.
Wildwood Family Camp
Bring the whole family, from toddlers to grandparents, to explore nature, reconnect, and meet other outdoor-loving families at our beautiful camp property.
Activities
Each day includes variety of fun activities include swimming, kayaking, nature crafts, hiking, ropes course challenges, birding, and campfire songs. There are ample opportunities to relax and enjoy time spent in nature, both together and in separate kid- or adult-only programs. All meals and daily snacks are included. Family Camp is a great way for parents to introduce future Wildwood campers to all the fun and excitement the outdoors has to offer.
Each day, family members can choose from adults-only, kids-only, and all-ages activities that include canoeing, kayaking, swimming, archery, nature walks, arts and crafts, and more.
All activities are optional, and families are welcome to spend time exploring or relaxing on their own or use Wildwood as a base for day trips to destinations in the surrounding area, like Mount Monadnock or Mount Watatic.
Lodging
Your family (up to eight people) sleeps in its own Adirondack cabin, platform tent, rustic cabin, or yurt—complete with bunk beds and mattresses. You can even bring your own tent if you prefer!
Toilets and hand-washing stations are available at each unit. The central shower building with sinks and composting toilets is a short walk from any unit.
Meals, Special Diets & Food Allergies
During family camp, most meals are served family-style at set times each day. Several highchairs are available. Healthy snacks are available in the dining hall mid-afternoon and hot coffee and tea are always available. Families who need to bring extra food for special diets are asked to leave all food in the dining hall, where they can have access to it anytime. Please do not bring any foods that contain nuts or peanuts, or traces of these. Each family’s food must be in a sealable container labeled with the family name.
Family Camp Policies
Wildwood has a responsibility to provide a healthy, safe, and welcoming environment for its staff, campers, and the wildlife that calls our camp home.
- On arrival day, family campers may arrive in the afternoon between 2:00–3:00 pm.
- On departure day, families depart by 11:00 am.
- Adult family campers may bring cell phones or pagers to keep in touch with family or work, but please turn them off or to silent mode during programs and be aware that cellular reception is generally spotty or unavailable at Wildwood.
- To protect native wildlife and habitats, as well as the health and safety of all participants, family pets may not be brought to Wildwood.
- Adults may use tobacco products only in designated smoking areas away from children and must ensure that smoking materials are extinguished and any trash collected and properly disposed of.

Wildwood Family Getaways
Wildwood Family Getaways are the perfect opportunity for your family to relax and spend time in nature with less structure, using our property as a campground. We will provide families with a unit to sleep and hang out in.
Each unit includes a fire pit, outdoor sink, picnic table, benches, and portable toilet. Families bring bedding, personal items, and all cooking/cleaning gear. The waterfront is open daily for swimming and boating. Available weekends during May, September, and October.
