Wildwood Camp Programs

Wildwood is Back for 2025!

Located in southern New Hampshire, Wildwood is a one-of-a-kind camp for youth ages 10–17, where campers come together to discover the natural world; take a break from busy schedules and technology; and get outside to do what kids do best—have fun!

Registration opens January 7, 2025.

Overnight Camp

At Wildwood Camp’s one- and two-week sessions, campers ages 10-13 create connections with friends and learn how to respect and care for nature in a supportive community.

One-week sessions amp up the fun with special themes from Halloween in July to a Carnival to a color explosion party! Two-week sessions enjoy the adventure of an overnight camp out at campsites in the area. Overnights allow campers to experience and learn new things like setting up tents, tying knots, starting campfires, and more.

Overnight campers who stay at camp for more than one consecutive session or Teen Adventure Trip, may register for an Intersession to remain at camp between sessions.

Ages 10-13

Wildwood campers roast s’mores over open fires, sleep under the stars, sing silly songs, paddle around Hubbard Pond, and fall in love with nature each day. Campers have fun as they explore the outdoors, make friends, and develop self-confidence and leadership skills that last a lifetime. Campers are grouped in units by gender and age: Carson (girls, ages 10-11), Leopold (boys, ages 10-11), Fossey (girls, ages 12-13), or Thoreau (boys, ages 12-13). Nature Escape ages 13-14 June 22-28 & August 3-9

This one-week program combines the best of overnight camp, adventure sports, and nature exploration. In addition to experiencing the best of Wildwood, campers also hike, paddle, and climb their way through New Hampshire's Monadnock region on day trips. Along the way, they'll learn firsthand about environmental stewardship and finish the week with an overnight camping trip. Campers will sleep in either yurts or tents. See available sessions

Counselors-in-Training ages 16-17 June 29–August 2

The Counselors-in-Training (CIT) program helps teens develop leadership skills, learn how to work with children, and to share their love and knowledge of nature with younger campers. The summer starts with a week-long training program before moving into cabins with the campers. Daily meetings will give CITs a chance to build community, share experiences, develop job skills, and gain knowledge and experience to begin the transition from camper to counselor. CITs must be entering their senior year of high school in the fall. CITs are selected by application and interview. Apply to be a CIT
