Accessibility at Long Pasture

Mass Audubon strives to create a welcoming presence for a wide range of visitors, including making our sanctuaries and nature centers like Long Pasture more accessible for all to enjoy.

All Persons Trail

Long Pasture's All Persons Trail is surfaced with a stone dust mixture and is equipped with a navigational post-and-rope guiding system for nearly its entire length. Two different kinds of beads are attached to the rope guide. A spherical bead indicates that an interpretive stop marker is within arm’s reach with the name of the stop in large print and braille. A cube-shaped bead indicates that a multi-use seating area is nearby.

Distance

The trail is 1,900 feet long, beginning and ending at the Discovery Center. It traverses five habitats including field, tidal flats, salt marsh, forest, and freshwater pond. This trail can be traveled in either direction. It typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to experience the entire self-guided tour, but that will vary with your travel mode, pace, and resting time.
