My Painted Landscapes: Plen Air Works by Hannah Brookman
On Display January 7-February 28
About the Exhibition
Hannah Brookman’s collection of paintings, “My Landscapes,” was made in moments of peace and rest, between many other projects and practices. Each painting was made in one sitting, outdoors and on location. Some paintings represent glorious full days spent painting amongst the trees, while others were made during hours stolen away before a busy day. The joy in painting and the reverence for beauty in the landscape is apparent in Hannah’s playful colors and absorbing compositions.
