Family Fun at Drumlin Farm
Ready for some outdoor adventures? We’ve got all kinds of fun programs and activities for you and your friends and family!
Nature Play Area
Located at an opportune stopping point halfway down the welcome hill, our Nature Play Area has a spiral stepping activity that's perfect for imaginative play. The circle was made from downed trees on-site and built by a crew of hard-working volunteers.
Forest Discovery Trail
Follow the Forest Discovery Trail, which starts behind the Red Barn and New England Wildlife Exhibit buildings, to an over-sized bird nest (eggs included), woodchuck tunnels, a rhododendron tunnel, and the stump jump.
Check out the treasure boxes along the Forest Discovery Trail to see what other visitors have found—and to leave a natural treasure of your own!
The Learning Garden
Stop by our farmyard garden and check out what’s growing in the different beds; enjoy the smells of mint, basil, oregano, sage, and more. See how the compost bins turn garden waste into nutritious compost that we add back into the soil.
The Learning Garden is at its best during the late spring, summer, and fall months when program participants and campers help us plant, maintain, and harvest the crops.
Vacation Week Programs
