Experience Maple Magic at Drumlin Farm

Special Event: Weekends, February 22-March 9, 2025

It's maple sugaring time at Drumlin Farm in Lincoln! Now's your chance to witness this annual tradition up close. In this 2-hour guided program, help the farmers with our first crop of the season as you follow the trail from sap to syrup. This includes:

  • Visiting the maple grove to check the taps and taste some sap
  • Learning how to identify a sugar maple
  • Comparing traditional ways of making maple syrup with how it is made today
  • Watching maple sap being boiled down in our sugarhouse
  • Sampling maple tea and finished maple syrup
