Nature Detectives Introduction

Part 1: Nature Detectives seek out animal clues in the natural world to discover who lives where and what they do. Students will learn to observe and read clues such as tracks, scat, holes, nests, and scratch marks and how to interpret animal activities from them.

Part 2: On a guided outdoor exploration through our wildlife sanctuary or your schoolyard, students will apply what they learned in the classroom to search for and interpret animal clues.

Locations: Your school and either Broad Meadow Brook or Wachusett Meadow
