Coastal Habitats Classroom Program (K-2)
Field Trip Series: School-based introductory program followed by a field trip with a final wrap-up lesson at your school.
In-class Program: (one-hour) Students learn about and compare the physical characteristics of live marine organisms, beach sand, rocks, minerals and live plants to prepare them for an on-the-coast field trip. Topics include Rocky Shore/Tide Pools*, Salt Marsh*, and Sandy Beach (topics can be combined). *Topic denotes special pricing for program.Allergy Note: This program features live crustaceans, mollusks, and fish.
