Circle of Life

Introduce your second or third graders to the natural world through inquiry-based science and environmental education activities! Through exploration of life cycles, habitats, and adaptations of local flora and fauna, students will develop their ability to engage in scientific techniques including making observations, asking essential questions, finding and evaluating evidence, and making comparisons. Students will gain awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the natural world, nature's significance to their quality of life, and of their ability to make a difference.

This program includes 3-5 one-hour classroom sessions and an optional field trip to Arcadia.
