Description
Long-time sanctuary volunteer, Brian Steinberg, has documented the dragonfly population at Wachusett Meadow for over 30 years and has recorded over 80 species at the sanctuary. This program will introduce some basic information about odonate life cycles and natural history as well as identification techniques. Visit a variety of habitats to see how many dragonflies are out and about and practice your identification skills.
