Description
Adventure out into the meadow to look at some of the diverse insect life of Wachusett Meadow. Native plant and wildflower meadows maintain a dense abundance of insect and arachnid life across the board, from beetles to butterflies, and dragonflies to spiders. Participants will learn identification techniques for some of the many species of insects that call our state home and understand more about their hidden lives. You can expect up to a one-mile hike over uneven terrain.
