Description
Travel by Mass Audubon Van to the Rhode Island coast for an exciting day of winter birding. We'll stop first at Colt State Park in Bristol, then head to Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge in Middletown. At both sites we'll search for winter sea ducks including Common Eider, Black, Surf, and White-winged Scoters, and Greater Scaup bobbing in the icy waters of Narragansett Bay and Rhode Island Sound. The wave-washed rocks at Sachuest Point offer the possibility to see both Harlequin Ducks and Purple Sandpipers.
A detailed confirmation will be sent 48 hours prior to this program.
