Description
The distinctive call of the male American Woodcock and its dramatic courtship display are among the earliest signs of Spring, coming soon to a field or meadow near you! After a brief outdoor presentation on the natural history of the American Woodcock, a short walk into one of the meadows will set the stage to experience the elaborate courtship dance of this amazing bird.

This program takes place outdoors. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars and a small flashlight or headlamp. We suggest comfortable, sturdy shoes for walking short distances on uneven terrain.
