Description
Have fun with hands-on activities and a gentle nature walk and find out what's happening this time of year at the sanctuary. Start indoors with an investigation of natural history objects such as nests and feathers, play a footprint matching game, and use clues to solve a tracking story. Create a nature journal to record your discoveries when exploring the trails.
Afterwards, head outdoors for a gentle guided walk to search for evidence of animal activity. Observe clues found in nature, such footprints, scat, and chewed nuts or seeds, and learn what these signs can tell us about wildlife on the sanctuary.
