Homeschool: Ecologists - Pollinators

Description

This group will concentrate on the interactions between living things and their environment. Students will use nature journals to build observation skills and will focus on drawing, sketching, and documenting varying habitats and their characteristics. Discussions around climate change will weave into each of our days together.

Wachusett Meadow's homeschool programs offer a friendly, cooperative learning environment for school-aged children! Each class will incorporate hiking and outdoor exploration and hands-on games and activities. Instructors will promote observation of our local wildlife as an essential skill. At the end of all programs, students will receive follow-up information and activities so the learning can continue at home.

Classes will be held outdoors except for extreme inclement weather. Health forms are required for drop off students. Families are always welcome to remain on the sanctuary.

Homeschool Classes for ages 5-10 meet at the same time.

We look forward to learning with you!
