Owls of Massachusetts

Description

Join Mass Audubon at the Plymouth Public Library Manomet Branch where we will learn about snowy owls, their anatomy, and their behavior.

The striking physical appearance, amazing adaptations, and unique behaviors of owls have inspired centuries of mystery and legend across cultures. Populating all but one continent, owls often introduce people to the fascinating lives of birds and the nocturnal world. This program will focus on the most common owl species found in Massachusetts and their significance in local habitats.

This FREE program is made possible by generous support from the America the Beautiful initiative in partnership with Plymouth Public Library.

Please Note: no captive live owls are a part of this program.
