Winter Birds: Behavior

Description

Discover the incredible ways birds adapt to the harsh winters of Massachusetts. Through an engaging talk, you'll learn about the unique behaviors that help our feathered friends survive the cold season, including migration patterns, foraging techniques, and the species that brave the winter months.

Following the talk, join us for a guided walk where you’ll observe winter birds in their natural habitats. See firsthand how they navigate the challenges of the season and apply your new knowledge to identify local species and their behaviors.
