Description
Raptors, foxes, and other predators balance Massachusetts' ecosystems. But shocking numbers of these iconic creatures have been sickened and killed after eating poisoned rodents. Mass Audubon’s Rescue Raptors program supports groups in communities across Massachusetts to reduce the use of these poisons. A new local team focused on this issue called Friends of Worcester Wildlife has been formed by a group of Worcester residents. Join them for a gathering to learn how rodent poisons harm wildlife and ways you can help, including how you could become an active part of the group.
Wildlife advocates and interested residents from surrounding towns are welcome!
