Description
Bring in the New Year the healthy way with a family-friendly nature walk at Greylock Glen. This program will explore gentle, gravel-paved trails through meadows, forests, and wetlands at the foot of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts' highest point. We'll look for signs of wildlife, watch and listen for birds, and see how plants survive the winter.
This program covers up to 1.7 miles of trail depending on our pace. Terrain is level or gradually sloping and could potentially be uneven or slippery due to snow, mud or ice. Traction spikes or snowshoes may be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.
