Identifying trees in the late fall and winter can be challenging. The lack of leaves makes it difficult but not impossible to determine which tree you are looking at. Join us to learn how to use buds, bark, and other key items to identify trees and shrubs during the winter.

This program begins with a lecture and ends outdoors; please come prepared for a walk and wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate layers.

Driving North or South on Rt 3:
Take Exit 27 (Rt 139, Marshfield/Pembroke). Turn onto Rt 139 east and go 3 miles to Rt 3A. Turn left (north) and follow Rt 3A for 4.6 miles to sanctuary entrance on right.
