Description
Every few Winters a primarily Northern breeder, the Short-eared Owl shows up in Massachusetts to overwinter. This is one of those Winters!
Join us as we experience this stunning species as they hunt in the late afternoon at one of South Shore's most famous raptor habitats, Daniel Webster Wildlife Sanctuary. We'll discuss the reasons many consider owls to be the gateway bird to a lifelong appreciation for the joy of birding.
