Destination Birding With a Scone: North Hill Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary

Description

In this travel series, we meet at a unique, specified destination, to walk and bird the trails together.

To sweeten the deal, we'll throw in some of Doug's legendary home-baked scones.

Please meet in the parking lot at Mass Audubon's North Hill Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary - Mayflower St, Duxbury, MA 02332.

This program will take place entirely outdoors, please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate layers.

Come prepared for a two-mile walk; accommodations will be made for those who need breaks.

Bring binoculars if you have them (and a scope if you're willing to carry it!). We will have extras to share.

Directions to North Hill Marsh

Address: Mayflower St, Duxbury, MA 02332

From Rt I-93: Take Rt 3 south to exit 22 (Rt 14, Duxbury/ Pembroke). Take a right onto Rt 14 east, follow 0.2 miles, then turn right onto Lincoln Street. Lincoln Street becomes Mayflower Street. Follow for 1 mile and bear to the left. Sanctuary parking is 0.5 miles ahead on the left.

From Rt 3A Heading South: Take a right onto Mayflower Street at the Duxbury Fire Station. From Rt 3A north, take a left onto Mayflower Street. Sanctuary parking is 1.2 miles ahead on the right.
