Description
Join the South East Region Sanctuaries staff for a birding trip to Martha's Vineyard. Spend the entire day exploring and birding the Island. All transportation costs are covered with registration fee.
Please note that this program starts at North River Sanctuary in Marshfield, MA. Due to the nature of the program we are unable to accommodate meeting or picking up participants once we have departed the sanctuary.
We encourage local residents/visitors on Island to visit Mass Audubon's Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary in Edgartown. Felix Neck offers kayak tours, seashore discovery programs, and so much more!

Our van will depart from North River Wildlife Sanctuary at 6:30 am, we ask that you please plan accordingly.
Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate layers. Participants are encouraged to bring lunch, snacks, and plenty of water for this extended Birding Exploration!

Driving North or South on Rt 3:
Take Exit 27 (Rt 139, Marshfield/Pembroke). Turn onto Rt 139 east and go 3 miles to Rt 3A. Turn left (north) and follow Rt 3A for 4.6 miles to sanctuary entrance on right.
