Description
Much of the joy when birding is inspired by observing their fascinating, and sometimes puzzling, behavior. You've probably noticed that birds live very active lives and therefore need to take in a lot of calories, which means that much of their behavior is geared toward feeding. From insectivores like the Eastern Phoebe, to granivores like the Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and carnivores like Barred Owls that regurgitate pellets, we’ll explore the amazing variety of ways birds find, catch, and process food.
