Description
Embrace the best of summer in this series highlighting seasonal phenomena. Tune into the chorus created by arthropods and amphibians during summer nights. Discover a community of insects and the adaptations they have developed in order to survive and thrive on the toxic milkweed plant. Find out why wasps, despite their fearsome reputation, serve important ecological roles, including pest control, recycling, and pollination. Wrap up by deciphering who is making music in meadows, as well as how and why.
Each Summer Sights & Sounds session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on 7/15/25 you get all 4 sessions listed below for the price of 3. To join the series after it starts and receive recordings of the session(s) you missed, email [email protected].
