Description
More than 30 warbler species pass through Massachusetts during spring migration, with more than 20 breeding here. Their bright, cheerful plumage enlivens spring birding adventures. However, identification can be challenging due to the sheer number of plumage patterns and fleeting glances, often of their undersides. This program will cover warbler habitat preferences and marathon migration routes, introduce a logical framework for ID, offer tips on making the most of limited views, and suggest the best places to view them.
This standalone program is part of the online Avian Adventures Series.
