Avian Adventures Series

Description

Spring offers special opportunities to observe birds. Along with buds and blooms, flashes of colorful feathers and delightful songs bring color and music back to the landscape. In this online series, explore the brightly hued warblers and other migratory species that pass through, as well as those who settle in to court mates, nest, and raise young. Take a closer look at feathers to find out how they help birds fly, survive, and thrive. As spring turns to summer, learn about stunning Atlantic Puffins and their alcid cousins, as well as the species that nest in the most iconic summer landscape-the beach.

Each Avian Adventure session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on 4/24/25 you get all 6 sessions listed below for the price of 5. To join the series after it starts and receive recordings of the session(s) you missed, email [email protected].
