Birdwatching Basics: Birdsong 101

Description

If you've ever been confused by birdsong outside your window or in the field, don't miss this opportunity to learn how, why, and most importantly, which birds are singing. You'll learn about vocalizations, the differences between songs and calls, and how to decipher what you hear now and in the coming months. Come away with the basic skill set needed for listening to the cacophony of spring calls and tools for identifying new and unusual songs.

This standalone program is part of the online Birdwatching Basics Series.
