Winter Birding Series

Description

Winter birding can be a joy if you know where to go and what to look for-and if you bring a coat! Find out why many raptors move to the coast in the colder months, and what drives crows and other species to gather in impressively large flocks. Learn how winter bird feeding can help you keep an eye on your feathered friends when temperatures drop, and find out what types of courtship behavior to look for as breeding season arrives. Discover birding hotspots throughout New England, and finish the online series with a roundup of ducks, geese, and other coastal visitors from the warmth of your home.

Each Winter Birding session stands alone, but if you register for the full series before it starts on 1/23/25 you get all 6 sessions listed below for the price of 5. To join the series after it starts and receive recordings of the session(s) you missed, email [email protected].
