Description
Our coastline's diverse habitats are home to a great variety of birds. Salt marsh ecosystems provide both aesthetic and practical benefits to their communities. It's hard to think of an ecosystem where the effects and evidence of climate change are more visible than in salt marshes. And yet, they are also where we find some of the most inspiring and hopeful restoration success stories. In this online program, take a deep dive into salt marsh ecology and find out how birds like Saltmarsh Sparrows, Willets, American Black Ducks, and Clapper Rails are benefiting from successful conservation efforts.
