Fall Phenomena: In the Forest

Description

As fall takes hold, plants and animals continue to prepare for the upcoming frost. Deciduous trees burst into color and then drop their leaves. Insect activity decreases - but where have they gone? If the conditions are right, mushrooms can be found almost everywhere. Learn about all the fascinating adaptations you can find in local forests during the fall season.

This standalone program is part of the 4-session online Fall Phenomena Series. Register for the full series before it starts on 9/17/24 to get all 4 sessions (9/17 In the Field; 10/8 In the Forest; 11/12 Seeds, Nuts, & Berries; 12/10 Transition to Cold Weather) for the price of 3. To join the series after it starts and receive recordings of the session(s) you missed, email [email protected] for assistance.
