Description
Join members of the community to collaborate on a unique piece of art. Start by observing local flora and fauna found along the Charles River (Quinobequin in the Massachusett language). Then, work with several professional artists to paint and draw the wildlife we see on a panel that will become a part of a mural for the nature center.
Local artists who specialize in depicting flora and fauna include Vicki Kocher Paret, Christina Beecher, and Nora Rosenbaum.
This Program is supported in part by a grant from Cambridge Arts, a local agenncy which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
