Monthly Foraging Walk

Description

Discover the edible and medicinal properties of local plants growing in Cambridge, learning how to harvest them sustainably and ethically. With the guidance of a trained Mass Audubon naturalist, explore the park from the tree canopy to the ground to learn about the nuts, pods, stems, buds, and berries that feed our local animals (and that can feed us too!) Each month, we'll focus on seasonal changes and identify the bounty that nature provides throughout the growing season.

Note: We will not eat anything during this program.
