Spring is bursting with life, color, and movement - an idea time to capture's nature’s beauty in a journal! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll delve into the fascinating world of vernal pools, exploring the incredible creatures that depend on this seasonal habitat. Through guided drawing and watercolor techniques, you’ll learn how to bring salamanders, wood frogs, and other wetland wonders to life on the page while deepening your understanding of their unique ecology.
Whether you're new to nature journaling or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers inspiration and practical techniques to help you connect with the season.
Afterward, join us for a peaceful nature walk and visit a vernal pool, brook, and other habitats in our 125-acre wildlife sanctuary. Please register separately for the walk.

Please park in the gravel parking lot by the large yellow barn and walk along the paved pathway in front of the yellow barn, two smaller buildings, and turn left onto the brick pathway which will lead you to the entrance to the Nest. All Materials Provided.
