Looking Closely: The Art and Ecology of Pink Lady's Slippers and Spring Wildflowers
Description
Spring is bursting with color, and it's the perfect time to capture nature’s beauty in a journal! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the fascinating world of Pink Lady’s Slippers-our native orchid-and other spring wildflowers. Through guided drawing and watercolor techniques, you’ll learn how to bring flowers to life on the page while discovering their unique ecology. Whether you're new to nature journaling or looking to deepen your practice, this program offers inspiration and techniques to connect with the season.
Afterward, we’ll take a relaxing nature walk through our 125-acre wildlife sanctuary to find Pink Lady’s Slippers, other blooming wildflowers, and spring wildlife. Please sign up for the nature walk separately.
