Description
Be inspired by nature and unleash your creativity with the art of gel plate monotype printmaking. During this open studio program, there will be a knowledgeable and skilled facilitator who will offer hands-on guidance and support for your printmaking project but participants will be left to their own creativity and inspiration to create their art.
You will be able to use an assortment of printmaking tools, including gel printing plates of different sizes, including 5x7, 6x6, and 8x10, brayers (rollers), barrens, artist quality printmaking ink, printmaking paper and card stock, and custom mylar stencils. Each participant will take home up to 10 custom prints and memories of a creative day at the intersection of art and nature. This workshop is geared for all experience levels and a great for beginners with little to no artistic experience.
After the program, you can enjoy a self-guided hike through the 125-acre sanctuary.
