Looking Closely: The Art and Ecology of Mushrooms

Description

Celebrate the arrival of fall through the pages of a nature journal. Learn how to connect with the natural world on a deeper level by looking closely at mushrooms on our 125-acre wildlife sanctuary and then learn more about the science and ecology of mushrooms along with several tips and techniques to expand your nature journal practice, including capturing observations in words, numbers, and pictures.

For the last hour of the program, you will explore the wildlife sanctuary to practice with your newly found knowledge and skills to journal mushrooms on your own.
