Wildlife on Tap at Cape Cod Beer~ Fascinating Fishes: River Herring

Description

The Wildlife on Tap lecture series at Cape Cod Beer is a special event each winter where attendees can learn about wildlife over some fine beverages. Each presenter in the series is an expert in their field.

Come have a beer as you hear from Abigail Franklin Archer, Cape Cod Cooperative Extension & Woods Hole Sea Grant and Chris Nappi, Natural Resource Officer, Barnstable as they describe how every spring, river herring flood into Cape Cod's freshwater streams and ponds, headed from their saltwater homes to their spawning grounds. This migration is known as the herring run. Learn about these incredible fish and the local work happening to protect them.
