Evening Paddle for Rails

Description

Usually, the only opportunity that Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary visitors have to observe Virginia Rail, Sora, or Pied-billed Grebe, is from a distant observation tower or boardwalk.Tonight by canoe in the marshes of the Ipswich River, we're aiming for close-up views of many secretive wetland species. We are also likely to encounter Marsh Wren, Swamp Sparrow, and Wood Duck. As the sun sets, we'll listen for the bonus of Barred and Great Horned owls. All levels of birders are welcome.

Checking registration status.
