Description
Join us at Joppa Flats for family fun about your favorite animals with hands-on science, songs, a take-home craft and outdoor time, weather permitting. This is a six-part series for young naturalists and their adventure-loving adult to learn about animals together. Please note there are no live animals in these programs.
Here are the dates and topics for our winter/early spring series:
January 10: Paws & Claws (animal tracking)
January 24: Arctic Animals (polar bears & seals)
February 7: Eagles & Owls (Bald Eagles and Snowy Owls)
February 21: The World of Penguins (Where they live and how they adapt)
March 7: Signs of Spring (birds, frogs and insects)
March 21: Welcome Back, Birds! (songbirds, water birds and waterfowl)
