Introduction to Education Volunteering: The Tide Pools of Plum Island

Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats education volunteer with any of the three offered programs that take place on Tuesdays in April. Our education volunteers help staff and field teachers present programs to schools, groups, and families throughout the school year in a wide variety of environments. These programs are free to Mass Audubon members and nonmembers can register and pay a one-time membership fee of $70.00.

We will demonstrate how to find and identify marine organisms, examine their adaptations and discuss how climate change is affecting this ecosystem.
