Introduction to Education Volunteering: Coastal Winter Wildlife

Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats education volunteer with any of the three offered programs that take place on Tuesdays in January. Our education volunteers help staff and field teachers present programs to schools, groups, and families throughout the school year in a wide variety of environments. These programs are free to Mass Audubon members and nonmembers can register and pay a one-time membership fee of $70.00.

We'll look for wildlife on the river such as loons, grebes, sea ducks, raptors, and harbor seals. Learn how we bird and teach tracking on the beach.
