Introduction to Education Volunteering: Local Raptors

Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats education volunteer with any of the three offered programs that take place on Wednesday mornings. Our education volunteers help staff and field teachers present programs to schools, groups, and families throughout the school year in a wide variety of environments. These programs are free to Mass Audubon members and nonmembers can register and pay a one-time membership fee of $70.00.

This session focuses on eagles, owls and hawks and their wintering behaviors. Learn about their adaptations and how to keep our groups engaged outdoors.
