Introduction to Education Volunteering: Winter Birds

Take your first step toward becoming a Joppa Flats education volunteer with any of the three offered programs that take place on Tuesday mornings. Our education volunteers help staff and field teachers present programs to schools, groups, and families throughout the school year in a wide variety of environments. These programs are free to Mass Audubon members and nonmembers can register and pay a one-time membership fee of $70.00.

Search for titmice, nuthatches, and chickadees and learn about winter bird survival strategies and learn how to go birding with children of all ages.
