Introduction to Education Volunteering: The Tide Pools of Plum Island

Description

In the fall, our education volunteers help staff on field trips and in the classroom to present programs to schools, groups, and families. Adults who are interested in learning about life between the tides will spend the morning with our staff on the beach at and our tide pool touch tank getting to know our local beach creatures! We will demonstrate how to find and identify marine organisms, examine their adaptations and discuss how climate change is affecting this ecosystem.

This session is free to Mass Audubon members and nonmembers can register and pay a one-time fee of $70.00 and have the option of a full-year membership!
