Description
Did you know that horseshoe crabs have been around since the time of the dinosaurs? Did you know that they are now protected by law to try and boost their populations? Did you know horseshoe crabs need our help, too?
In this fun and informative program for families, we will celebrate these "living fossils" and see live horseshoe crabs, meet our hatchlings and learn all about what makes this remarkable creature a hero to humans and shorebirds! Participants will make a take-home craft and fun pages about horseshoe crabs.
