Description
Red-tailed Hawks have keen eyes, curious minds, and can soar long distances. Our Red-tailed Hawk Homeschool Class is the name for our homeschool class for ages 6-8 years old. This series introduces homeschool students to basic ecology while nurturing an appreciation for and understanding of the natural world.
How do wild animal survive during our cold and hungry New England winters? How can we learn from them and develop our own outdoor winter survival skills? Come find out though first hand observations of wildlife, exploration of the winter landscape, and practice with real outdoor skills.

Instructions
Check-in is outside in front of the sanctuary buildings. Please come dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the entire class. For the Chickadee class an adult must come along with the group for each class. All other classes are drop-off and a health and emergency contact form will be required for each child.
