Homeschool: Red-tailed Hawks

Description

Red-tailed hawks have keen eyes, curious minds, and can soar long distances. Our Red-tailed Hawk group is the name for our homeschool class for 6 to 8 year olds. This series introduces homeschool students to basic ecology while nurturing an appreciation for and understanding of the natural world.

In this Fall eight-week series, we will be learning about the wild superheroes all around us. Plants and animals have amazing abilities like flying through the air, breathing underwater, and defending themselves with their weird and wonderful adaptations. We'll search for these local legends and learn about their super skills through games, crafts, and hands-on exploration. All of our homeschool groups are learning about the same topics this fall, but with the content and activities tailored to the ages, interests, and needs of the group.
