Homeschool: Teen Stewardship and Action/ Winter Session
Description
Through stewarding the trails, wild areas, and garden at Habitat, students will develop teamwork skills through project-based learning. We will dive in and study how the sanctuary is managed to benefit both nature and people. Students will learn to identify projects and explore how needs vary with the seasons. Expanding on sanctuary experiences, students will investigate an environmental project or action to take in their own community, working on the project during homeschool and implementing it in their community as the seasons progress.
