Description

A field trip a day! Your child can spend school vacation week exploring different Island properties, learning about wildlife, growing food, making crafts, singing songs, listening to stories, and much more!

Monday: The Farm Institute

Tuesday: Long Point Wildlife Refuge

Wednesday: Island Grown Initiative

Thursday: Native Earth Teaching Farm

Friday: Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary

Expect an email from Camp Docs regarding your child's health forms. Please complete the forms SOON but no later than ONE WEEK BEFORE THE SESSION.

According to Massachusetts state law, your child will not be able to attend camp unless the health forms are submitted.

What to Bring: Your child should come prepared wearing layers, including a jacket and footwear appropriate for various outdoor activities. Two full water bottles, lunch and snack from home, and a change of clothes and shoes.

Please remember that drop off and pick up sites will change DAILY:

Monday: The Farm Institute - 14 Aero Ave, Edgartown, MA 02539

Tuesday: The Trustees at Long Point Wildlife Refuge

Winter Season Directions: Traveling west on Edgartown-West Tisbury Rd., proceed 1.1 mi. beyond the main entrance to the airport. Turn left onto Deep Bottom Rd. and follow for 1.5 mi., always bearing left at forks. Turn right onto Thumb Point Rd. and follow for 1.3 mi. to the off-season parking area (30 cars).
